The 2016 Southern California Probability Symposium will be held on Saturday, December 3, at the University of Southern California.

Direction and Parking

  • Here is a link to a USC campus map. The talks will be held in Kaprelian Hall (KAP) 414, which is next to Entrance 6 at the far left of the campus map, 3620 S. Vermont Ave. Breaks will be in the adjacent lounge, KAP 410. As you exit the elevator, go right and you will reach the lounge.
  • USC will cover the cost of parking. Details to follow.

Dinner Information

  • The conference dinner will be held at 5:45 PM at Yang Chow Restaurant in LA's Chinatown. Cost will be in the mid-$20's range. Menu will have been chosen in advance. The reservation is for 6:00, but everyone needs to arrive a bit early because the restaurant wants us done by 7:30. There is valet parking--take the alley adjacent to the restaurant--no charge except tip. If that's full, there are multiple parking garages in the area.
  • If you wish to attend the dinner, please email Ken Alexander at alexandr@usc.edu by 4:00 PM on Wednesday, November 30. Include any dietary restrictions, e.g. if you are vegetarian.
