DRIVING INSTRUCTIONS: All distances are very approximate, guaranteed only to be of the right order of magnitude.
  • FROM THE SOUTH: Take I-405 north when it splits from I-5 in Orange County. When you reach Carson, take I-110 north. Go about 10 miles and exit at Exposition Blvd. Continue north one block after the exit ramp, then keep left to go under the freeway. Continue straight to get onto Exposition Blvd. Go about 1/2 mile, turn right (north) onto Vermont Ave. Again go about 1/2 mile, turn right (east) onto Jefferson Blvd. Go about 1/3 mile, turn right (south) at McClintock onto the campus. Then see "After Entering Campus" below.
  • FROM THE WEST: Take US 101 south into Los Angeles. Then go south on I-405 about 9 miles, and then east on I-10. After about 8 miles, exit at Vermont Avenue. Turn right (south) onto Vermont Ave., go about 1 mile, then left (east) onto Jefferson Blvd. Go about 1/3 mile, turn right (south) at McClintock onto the campus. Then see "After Entering Campus" below.
  • FROM THE NORTH: Take the 110 freeway southbound and exit at Exposition Blvd. Cross Flower and Figueroa (two streets close together, almost parallel to the exit ramp) to get onto Exposition Blvd. Go about 1/2 mile, turn right (north) onto Vermont Ave. Again go about 1/2 mile, turn right (east) onto Jefferson Blvd. Go about 1/3 mile, turn right (south) at McClintock onto the campus. Then see "After Entering Campus" below.
  • FROM THE EAST: From I-10 westbound, exit at Hoover. Turn right at the end of the exit ramp, then right again onto Hoover southbound. Go about 1 mile to where Hoover ends at Jefferson. Turn right onto Jefferson, go about 1/4 mile, then left at McClintock onto the campus. Then--
  • AFTER ENTERING CAMPUS: Pay $6 to park. Continue straight after the parking booth to get to Parking Structure A. The math department is immediately west of this structure, and Gerontology is immediately south. A CAMPUS MAP can be viewed by clicking here . Choose "University Park Campus". The Mathematics Department (DRB), Gerontology (GER) and Parking Structure A (PSA) are to the far left.
  • NOTE: There is another gate onto campus off Exposition Blvd. at USC Watt Way (Gate 1 on the campus map.) This may be open, or maybe not; if it's open and you know your way or have the map printed out, you can avoid driving around to the north-side gate and instead enter Gate 1.
